Welcome
‘Corner House’ is very convenient for exploring the beautiful medieval town of Bury St Edmunds. The Cathedral, Georgian Theatre, Abbey Gardens, restaurants and twice weekly market are all a few minutes’ walk away. Trains, buses and supermarkets are within 10-15 minutes. There are many cultural events all year round, culminating in the May Arts Festival.
Bury St Edmunds is an ideal centre for exploring the East Anglian countryside beloved of the painters Constable and Gainsborough. Half and full day trips may be made to the quaint timbered wool town of Lavenham; Cambridge with its World famous university and the Cathedral cities of Norwich and Ely. The wide beaches and bird sanctuaries of the Norfolk and Suffolk coasts all have a distinctive atmosphere.
Corner House is a comfortable property for up to four people. It stands facing a small green square of trees and shrubs in a secluded cul-de-sac. To the rear there is an enclosed garden where you have privacy for al fresco meals. It provides an ideal base from which to explore East Anglia.
